Q: How long does it take to service my vehicle?
A: Most automotive services are completed in approximately 2-3 hours. However if there are any faults identified or additional parts required, then this may take a little longer. We appreciate and usually ask customers to leave their vehicles with us for the day and we will call to advise when the vehicle is ready for collection.

Q: What are the extra charges?
A: Our automotive service pricing is based on a standard four-cylinder petrol vehicle. In some cases, depending on the vehicle type, additional charges may apply for non-standard or additional parts and additional labour. For selected vehicles, this can include oil, oil filter and spark plugs. In order to guarantee workmanship, all parts and oils must be supplied by Bridgestone Select. To confirm if any extra charges are applicable to your vehicle and to obtain an accurate cost, we will need your vehicle's registration number so we are able to confirm the details and requirements for your vehicle's make/model.
Q: What oil is included in the service? Are there any extra charges for oil?
A: Standard oil that we use is Mobil 10w40 semi-synthetic up to 5 litres. If the vehicle uses more than 5 litres, then the cost for the additional oil will be required.
Also, if fully-synthetic engine oil is required, this would be an extra charge. Please discuss this with the store for your vehicle manufacturer's specific oil. Non-standard oil is when a manufacturer specifies the correct viscosity or a specific oil type; there are three options: mineral, semi-synthetic and fully-synthetic. It is crucial that we use the correct grade and viscosity as this prevents engine damage. So we are able to determine the correct type and provide you an accurate cost, we require the vehicle's registration number to confirm the requirements for your vehicle's make/model.
Q: I need a service but also require vehicle repairs and a WoF, can Bridgestone Select do it all?
A: Absolutely, Bridgestone Select is your one-stop tyre & automotive service/repair store; in addition to tyres, wheel alignments & tyre-related services, we also carry out Warrant of Fitness inspections and full mechanical repairs by qualified & experienced mechanics.
